The first annual Yoga Festival Montréal!
yocomo (yoga communauté montréal/yoga community montréal) is a grassroots initiative to recognize the breadth of practice, skill and integrity of yoga in Montréal. It is a celebration of diversity and a means of challenging the norms. This city is full of curious seekers who are hopeful and inspired. The intention of this blog and the 2012 yoga festival montréal is to find the people who are steadily doing their work and shine a light on them—the teachers and practitioners who are committed and dedicated. Motivated by a desire to connect the undercurrent of yoga in Montréal, yocomo is taking yoga out of the studio and into the hood.
The goal of yocomo is to unearth the gems of the everyday yoga community. Together, we can span ideology, tradition, culture and language, and break down the barriers between lineages. We can connect and share our personal experiences for the growth of the community. We will talk, laugh, sing, eat, celebrate, dance, enjoy life.
When? June 8, 9 & 10
